Dear 2009-2010 100 Mile Club® Participants,
If you have have run 100 Miles this
year, you are probably looking for your name or a photo here. We are going to wait to put anything here until
the medal ceremony is over. This will allow you to do two very important things:
Keep running. You ran 100 miles with ease, and so you need
to strive to hit YOUR personal best...whatever that may be. It may be 120, 150, or even 200! That is something
you need to decide for yourself. Don't stop now. Practice the lifeskills of poise
and confidence. Feel that pride and refrain from boasting. We
will celebrate your personal best at the medal ceremony. We promise.
Help your friends. You are now a true role model. Others
will look to you and seek your assistance. Become a coach yourself, and pull together a group to run with you...you
will show true friendship, cooperation, and team spirit as you bring your classmates along so they, too, may reach their personal best.
Remember...
"Success is peace of mind which is a direct result of self-satisfaction
in knowing you did your best to become the best that you are capable of becoming..."
-Coach John Wooden
Enjoy the challenge of moving past 100 miles!
Strive for your personal best!
Feel true pride,
and help your friends...
