"...I am awed. If I can get even one program up and running that has half the significance that 100 Mile Club already has had in so many people's lives, I will consider my career in education to have been a success. I mean it."

100 Mile Club Medals...
bigmedals.jpg
...over 4,000 medals awarded in 2008!!

Students use lifeskills based on The Pyramid of Success, designed by the legendary basketball coach, teacher, and 100 Mile Club supporter, Coach John Wooden.

100 Mile Club®.  It's simple.  You run.  You run and you run and you run.  Just a little each day.  If you can’t run, you walk. You walk and you walk and you walk. Just a little each day, any way you can.

Your goal is to run one hundred miles by the end of the school year. You CAN do it!  YOU can do it.  With a little perseverance and help from the people around you, you can do it.  Your friends will cheer for you.  Your teachers will encourage you.  They all know how hard it is.  They’re doing it, too.  Little by little, day by day you move forward, one mile at a time.

The day you run your 25th mile, you will receive a shirt that you will wear with true pride.  It will show you, your family, and your friends that you are on your way to meeting your goal!!

Using the lifeskills of ambition, intentness, industriousness, honesty, and loyalty, you can (and WILL!) reach your goal of running 100 miles this school year.  When you do, the pride you will feel is like nothing you have ever felt in your life, because YOU accepted the challenge, YOU believed in yourself, YOU did it!

When you reach 100 miles, you become a mentor for others as you continue earning miles.  At your medal ceremony, your efforts will be celebrated the medal around your neck will show the world that you have the ability to do your best, set a goal, and reach it!

Accept the Challenge.

100 Mile ClubTM...it's waiting for you.
